Haha! Steve, my advice would be to never under-estimate the power of reverse psychology. Tell them you don't want them to go out and play in the new pool because you and Louise are going to use it! See what happens!
Failing that, give them the box the pool came in and be amazed as you watch them turn it into an intergalactic space station!

Ah, the joys of summer...birds singing, flowers blooming, happy faces, spring in the step, the smell of freshly cut grass, eating alfresco, garden centres, holidays...you cant beat it...
Heat lumps and rashes, ants in the greenhouse, stickiness, wasp stings, ants in the kitchen, lawn needs mowing again, suncream, sunburn, ants in the borders, grizzly kids, energy zapped, waterbutt empty, garden thirsty, fine for the hose pipe, ants lift the patio, hayfever crazy...
Ah, the joys of summer!

While having a bbq in my son's garden in Yorkshire on the weekend I was bitten by an ant in two places on my leg...sore ain't the word and I have mini-boils too! Back to British summer-time today...lets hope the weather picks up for the weekend!

Poor you, Mona! Every year I get bitten by bloomin ants and it really, really hurts! Worse than a wasp sting I find. My whole body goes shivery and I get a great big lump. Horse flies seem to like me too, and they are nasty little blighters!
