Do you shop ethically? Do you try to support local producers? Have you ever visited Caerphilly Farmers Market? Held on the 2cnd Saturday of each month, at the Twyn Community Centre, Caerphilly town, here you will find locally produced meat, cheese, eggs, honey (the best I've ever tasted),jams and pickles, bread and cakes, organic veg and various talented crafts folk. Idris Moyle makes beautiful pieces from wood - one of his vases has pride of place on my dining table. If you suffer from eczema or other skin conditions, or like me you try to avoid unneccesary chemicals, you'll love Comforts and Candles. I can highly recommend their handmade helping hands balm for very dry skin, and their lovely, traditional handmade soaps. Visit www.caerphillyfarmersmarket.co.uk for further information and links to stall holders websites. The Farmers Market is open from 9.30am until 1.30am. Best to go early before things are sold out! The next market is on April 12th, dont miss it.

Did any one see Blood, Sweat and T-shirts on BBC 3? The programme took 6 fashionable British youngsters to India, to show them the working conditions where our clothes are made. ABOUT BLOOMING TIME!!! The documentary will take them from the best conditions, to the worst in an attempt to open their eyes to the harsh realities and change their throw away fashion culture.
BLOOD, SWEAT AND T-SHIRTS, BBC3, 9pm, Tuesday's. Dont miss it.
