I am sure that we have all mumbled along to songs with out knowing the words just making them up as we try to sing along. But then when we actually find out what the are, does the song make any more sense? Have you got any?

HEYYYYYYY, MO-NA. OOOOOO-OOOO MO-NA! Tell you Mona what I'm gonna do...build a house next door to you! That's the song that sticks in my head ALL day when I read your posts Mona, so I'd like to thank you for that!![/color] I think the worst song lyrics ever are, "I dont want to see a ghost, it's the sight that I fear most, I'd rather have a piece of toast..."hhhhmmmm!

I remember a song in the 80's I think it was by a band called SNAP and the song was called 'rhythm is a dancer'. One of the lines in that song I think could have been thought out a little more was, "I am as serious as cancer, when I say rhythm is a dancer'. I class this as a Terrible Lyric.

I bet I'm not the only one who thought The Jam were singing "Hello, today, what a nice day for eating trifle, eating trifle"!!!!?? ;D
Really rubbish lyrics includes anything by the Spice Girls in my book - "I wanna really, really, really really, zig-ah-zig-ahhh" What on earth is that all about?
And what was Elton John thinking when he sang" If I was a sculptor, but then again - no," HUH? Make your mind up, mate!
Great thread Steve!

I have had this song on my phone for about 3 months now, and I listen to it when I am delivering (with earphones mind!). The song is by a band called 'Temple of the Dog' and the song is called 'Wooden Jesus'. Somewherein the song it actually says 'Spent all my money on a future grave', but I thought he sung, 'Spent all my money on Nutrigrain', I think what I was igning sounds much better.
