I was reminded the other day, of Major Morgan, the handheld musical toy from the 80's. I was mad about it! Do you have any favourite toy memories from your childhood?

Ummmm...not sure, remind me what it is. Remember perfection? You had to race against the clock to fit all the shapes in the right place, before the time was up and they exploded into the air. PHEW! Made me a bag of nerves that did! How about KERPLUNK! I remember having MOUSETRAP under the bed for years, but never being allowed to get it out, so it was like some sort of wonderfully intriguing mystery to me. Until years later I bought it for my own child, and now I know why! DOMINO RALLY was another fave, but that was frustrating too! ETCH-A-SKETCH. ATARI - SPACE INVADERS and PACMAN! It's all coming back to me now... ;D Ahhh, Happy Days!

Simon was a game that was round, and had 4 colours on it red, green, blue & yellow. The colours would flash and make a sound and you would have to follow the pattern, I used to love it. Does anyone know what I am on about, not the greatest at explaining things see look.

Does anyone remember the Buzz Be telephones (Don't know the correct spelling) ? As a very young child I would spend hours talking to all kinds of imaginary people! I once had a quiz game, and memorised all the answers, which really pleased my sister (who had to win at everything) lol. My best toy was my roller-boot skates, I would go for miles with them, I use to go to all the roller skating discos. A couple of years ago I hired a pair whilst on holidays, what a disaster, I just couldn't get them to work, well what I really mean is that my legs had gone lazy and I couldn't skate no matter how hard I tried or how loud I shouted at my legs to move lol! I was truly devastated

LOU-ISE! I lurved my rollers too! I started with the clumpy, metal, heavy things, with red leather straps, which were a bit like skating through snow, but then I got roller boots, blue and yellow, and I thought I was the kiddie! Yes, I went to the roller disco on a Wednesday at Ebbw Vale lesiure centre, and spent the entire evening just round and round... brill! After those I got a really smart white pair with bright pink laces and stoppers...but I came down Penmaen Estate a bit quick and crashed into a wall, scuffing them really badly! I'm always quite envious when I see the kids whizzing about with those heelie things, you know, one minute they are trainers, then turn into skates! WOW, imagine doing the shopping in them! ;D Thanks for the happy memory!
