With the BIG school holiday just around the corner, can you recommend a good place to visit? Whether it's your favourite beach in Wales, an Englishman's castle, or a local activity centre, tell us all about it...

The Roman Legionary Museum in Caerleon is great and free to go to as well as it comes under the National Museum and Galleries of Wales. There is a military spectacular on in June: www.museumwales.ac.uk/en/caerleon/This has been staged for a number of years now and sometimes they bring over "real Roman" gladiators to give demonstrations in the amphitheatre. Unfortunately, there is a charge for visiting the baths as this is a CADW site but the barrack site and the amphitheatre is free except when there is an event.

St f*gans Museum of Welsh Life is always a winner, and it's free too! I love stepping back in time - wouldn't you just love to see your house/village/town 100 years ago? There's a lot to take in, so arrive early. It tends to get very busy bank holidays. It's quite strange to see The Oakdale Institute sited there! From what I remember the restaurant was quite expensive, so pack a picnic is my advice, and dont forget to buy a loaf from the old bakery! www.museumwales.ac.uk/en/stf*gans/
